We are learning to define improvement differently, in terms of numbers to watch and minute changes. It seems he is a tiny bit better today, and certainly not worse. The fact that he has remained about the same this weekend, without any nosedives, is an improvement itself. They are still working to keep him stable in an intricate balancing act, while looking for ways to help him kick the virus. A new pulmonologist came on duty today and is planning on working with Zack most of the day, seeking ways to get his numbers a little better. Keep praying that every day sees an improvement.
