Zack's chest x-ray this morning showed a tiny improvement, and he has reabsorbed a lot of the air in his body, making him visibly look better. They put the trach in successfully this afternoon, and he did not have any major problems after the procedure. His fever comes and goes and his heart-rate is still too high, but overall he is doing a bit better today.

Thank you Laura for the updates--we are checking this spot many times in the day. Jess is still here in WA. We all remain optimistic and wait for the day when Zack can post and tell us all about his healing!! Kellars
ReplyDeleteWe talked about Zack and you folks as we started Christmas yesterday morning. God promise that He will never leave us or forsake us no matter how difficult the circumstances -- even though we may feel all alone in the midst of our pain and anxiety -- is still today our mainstay. God is a great God and is able, more than able to care for our greatest needs. Love, Wayne & Vonnie
