Dec. 22

Today Zack is a little better. Baby steps each day. His pH has returned to normal range, his PEEP is down another two points, and his oxygen level is at an acceptable range. They are going to be doing a tracheotomy and having him breathe that way instead. Hopefully this will allow him to be a little more comfortable. Keep praying! God is working.

    I am praying for you all. I am glad they are doing the trach. My sister was on a vent for 3 weeks and they did not and now she can't talk well from the scarring. I sent out a prayer request for Zach to my 300+ people who pray for Dan. So he is getting prayer from all over the world. The important thing is to keep your eyes on the Lord and your nose in His word. He is your strength.
