Happy New Year! Zack had another good day. His PEEP is down to 9 and he's down to 50% oxygen. He is also coming out of the sedation and is moving some, has opened his eyes, and responded physically to a question. My parents are going to spend even more time with him, since that seems to be calming to him.

Although we haven't been posting everyday, we have been checking on you everyday, Zack. God brings you to our minds many times a day, and we always stop to pray for you.
ReplyDeletePsalm 91:3 promises: "Surely He will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence (disease)." And verses 5 and 6 continue: "You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday." We've been claiming those promises for you and your family moment by moment.
We hope throughout this ordeal you can sense God's awesome power, peace, and presence!
