Jan. 11

Zack made good progress today. He was pretty feisty early this morning and had to be restrained, but later on was calmer and when he was awake was more alert than ever. The great news is that they took him off the vent and c-pap, and he was breathing on his own with just some oxygen. Also, they took him off one of the sedatives completely, and dropped the other a bit.
