Jan. 4

Zack had a better day today. His PEEP went down to 8 and they got him completely off the paralytic. They did a bronch on him this morning (due to that x-ray yesterday) and got some fluid out of the the lung that was enlarged. They've reported that he is sleeping peacefully now. Pray that that continues. We needed a good day again. Praise God.

    Laura,
    Just read your blog on Zack for the first time and got chills. All of you have been on a roller coaster ride!!! We send our earnest prayers that Zack continues to improve. And that the next roller coaster you're all on, will be at Disneyland. You guys stay strong!!!

    The Wallaces are right. This is quite a roller coaster ride. Isn't it wonderful to know the God is the driver and all we have to do is hang on? I know that you and Zach and the whole family are in Gods care. We never know why something like this happens, it just does. Someone will be influenced by this experience and will turn to God in their time of need because of this time. Rest well sweet Zach. Breathe Laura, make sure you all take your rest too.
